New client process at PFRx:
- Introductory discussion of goals, fears, challenges, expectations, and desires. Mark and Sacha meet with the client to learn what the client needs, give him or her an overview of the process, formulate an individualized written exercise plan, and then the client commits by paying.
- Nutrition counseling, development of nutritional plan, measurements, and Introduction to the gym. Many new clients are intimidated by the gym, and benefit a great deal from being introduced to the equipment, trying some of it out, and getting a feel for working out. Then their measurements are taken, which yields an accurate assessment of the starting point for tracking progress. Additionally, a counseling session with Sacha on nutrition, a key part of the holistic approach PFRx takes to living a healthier life, is part of this step, along with the development of an individualized nutrition plan.
- Training sessions commence. As part of each training session in the first month, Mark or Sacha contacts the client 24-hours after the session to see about soreness or pain.
- Monthly progress and motivation checkpoints; clients are re-measured and Sacha checks in with them on nutrition, adjusting advice as needed and offering new-found tips and recipes.
